The Internet touches almost all aspects of everyone’s daily life, whether we realize it or not. Defenders Protection Initiative has organised a digital security webinar that is designed to engage and educate public and CSO partners to raise awareness about the importance of cybersecurity, to share experiences and solutions to trending cyber insecurity.
The digital security webinar is motivated by recognizing the profound changes brought about by the digitalization, convergence and continuing globalization of computer networks and convinced of the need to pursue, as a matter of priority, a common stand aimed at the protection of society against cybercrime, through the adoption of appropriate resources, practices and tools and fostering co-operation.
The Goals of the webinar are;
- To Analyse the global trends in cyber attacks and digital security and reveal or predict how civil society in uganda is affected
- To Discuss the challenges and vulnerabilities in digital security within civil society in uganda
